Maintaining a home when you are thousands of miles away or even on a different continent can be challenging. Secret Places offers various types of professional property management services ranging from basic home watch, through to full management. Our services are described here or we can design a specific management package to suit your exact needs in the care of your home. We employ our own maintenance team, pool service staff, cleaners and lawn service.

Your home is your investment, we can help in obtaining vacation rentals to help in offsetting some of the costs associated with owning and maintaining a second home. If required, your home can be placed into our vacation rental program, which is actively marketed via our travel industry partners in Europe, USA, Canada and thru our network of websites and extensive marketing activity. Our rental program is flexible to accommodate those homeowners who wish to be actively involved in marketing their own properties, or homeowners who only seek occasional or seasonal rentals.

To comply with Florida State law, all homes involved in short term vacation rental activity must be registered for the payment of sales and local tourist tax. The home must also be licensed. We can arrange all of this for you. There is an annual charge for your home to be registered as part of our Secret Places group license. These are the type of services that will be provided:

Weekly pool maintenance & pool cleaning.

Weekly/bi weekly lawn maintenance and cutting.

Provide for full housekeeping and cleaning service between rentals.

General ongoing maintenance of the property and replacement of filters, light bulbs etc.

Initial set up of homeowner utilities accounts.

Produce monthly accounts on behalf of the homeowner.

Provide guest check in facilities and indemnify against damage.

Provide 24 hour emergency call out service for guest renting the property.

Feature and promote your home for rental if required.

Remit on the owners behalf State & County sales/tourist taxes each month.
